Okay holistic fam, let’s talk about Monday’s. They get such a bad wrap but if you want to start your week right, you need to change your mindset around Mondays.
You need to change the way you think about Mondays.
I’m human and some weeks are definitely 110% better than others. That being said, I feel like most of my weeks are filled with positivity and productiveness. And I have put it down to the fact that I don’t hate Mondays.
That’s right. I’m even going to go as far as saying I love Mondays.
Here’s why, and here’s how to start your week right to ensure you have a productive and positive week:
Stop thinking of Monday’s as the day of the week that sucks, or the hardest day of the week, or the end to all your fun for another five days.
Seriously, stop. Change your thoughts and your mindset around Mondays.
You need to think of Monday’s as a fresh start and the opportunity to be really productive.
Last week doesn’t matter anymore. Whether you smashed all your goals or felt like you absolutely sucked last week, its over. You’re at the start of a new week, and whichever boat you’re in, you actually have control over how your week ends up. You choose whether you start your week right or not.
That’s right. You and your mindset are what sets yourself up for a great week.
Do you want a productive week filled with positivity and feelings of getting one step closer to your goals?
Or would you rather a week where you feel like you’re going backwards and you question why you even have the goals you do?
Don’t set yourself up to fail
If you want the former, it starts with mindset. Everything is about mindset. You need to change your mindset!
If you start your Monday with a really great mindset and you are super productive, then you’re setting yourself up to have a really good week.
Think about it. If your Monday is super productive, and you get a lot done, and you feel really good, of course, the rest of the week will follow in Monday’s footsteps.
Just get stuck into it
Whether it be getting out of bed at 5 am while it’s storming outside to do a workout, sitting down to smash out work you’ve been putting off for ages, even just cleaning the entire house. Make Monday the day you get stuck in!
I guarantee that if you make Monday your favourite day of the week and your most productive day of the week, your entire 6 days following Monday will change. And I know it sounds like such a small thing, but the simple things are what work the best.
So, start your week right by starting your Monday right. Get excited by it. Be productive and stop setting yourself up for failure every week by declaring that you’re going to have a bad day and a bad start before it’s even really started.
