Gym motivation playlist
We all have those days where we wake up and going to the gym is the last thing we feel like doing. It’s important to realise that you’re not the only one feeling this way. We all have days, weeks and some of us even have months where we don’t feel motivated. Beating yourself up isn’t going to change anything. Sometimes, even though it’s hard, the best thing to do is push through those times. I’ve found those are often the best workouts I have. But something is missing. How do I go from not feeling it to having the best workout ever? My secret is literally to put on your favourite gym motivation playlist that gets you in the mood every time.
Play them while you’re getting ready for the gym. Play them while you drive to the gym. Play them while you’re at the gym. You won’t be feeling so unmotivated then.

A quick word about motivation
If motivation is something that you’re struggling with all the time, a gym motivation playlist isn’t really going to be of much help to you. This isn’t talked about that much but you can’t rely on motivation to get you to your goals. It simply won’t be there for you when you need it most. I know it’s not what you want to be hearing but it’s true. You can do something about it though.
You need to re-assess your goals. Why are you going to the gym? Why are you working hard? What is it all about? You need to find the meaning behind what you’re doing. I’m not talking about your “why” being that you want to gain muscle or lose weight, I’m talking about the REAL reason. Why do you want to do it all?
Once you have a clear and very meaningful goal, you’re going to struggle less with motivation.
Another thing to think about
You might already have a clear reason with real meaning behind it. If you’re still struggling then it’s something bigger. It’s your mindset. Your mindset is holding you back.
